What is fasting, detox or cleansing?

Fasting, detox or cleansing means reducing the load on the body, for example by leaving out all solid food and consuming only liquid food for a while. Fasting is an ancient healing tool for humans and animals. For example, when a wild animal gets sick or injured, it instinctively fasts, aka stops eating, allowing the energy of the body to focus on healing. That kind of water fast you can try on your own for a day or two, but for longer water fasts I recommend fasting retreats with professionals. It you haven't fasted before, I recommend starting with my protocols: a fruit cleanse, smoothie detox or a juice fast. Fasting can be done in different ways and for different lengths of time, but the overall goal is to clean the intestines, brain, liver and the whole body of all the old waste, toxins and heavy metals which may be causing health problems. When you give your body the right conditions, it heals itself. Even chronic diseases can be cured when the body is given the right kind of rest, and then nourished with the right kind of food. Don't ever fast to lose weight, but to get healthy!

Fruit Cleanse

Fruit Cleanse is a diet of only fruits (sweet and non-sweet), berries and leafy greens. During this Fruit Cleanse you will have energy for normal life, work and exercise. This coaching includes the support of a coach, instructions and inspirational and delicious recipes for 14 days. The recommended length of a Fruit Cleanse is 4-8 weeks.

Smoothie Detox

Smoothie Detox is a cleansing diet of only blended ingredients. They can include fruits, leafy greens, vegetables, sprouts, spices, superfood powders and seeds. During a smoothie detox you will have energy for normal life, work and exercise. You will receive instructions and support, but also a wonderful Smoohie Detox ebook with 50 delicious smoothie recipes. The recommended length of a Smoothie Detox is 1-2 weeks.

Juice Fast

Juice fast is a cleansing diet of only liquids. It includes cold-pressed fruit juices, vegetable juices and green juices, but also some store-bought juices, water, coconut water, plant-based milks, vegetable broths and herbal infusions. There are various juice fast protocols out there. In some of them the key is to drink only a couple of glasses day to reach the fasting state. Even though we call this a Juice Fast, it is more like a Juice Feast. We will drink many liters and the aim is not to get into the ketosis. The great amount of astringent juices will soften (and, if continues for long enough, also remove) the old waste from the intestine walls. That old waste is mucoid plaque and it might be causing health problems and malabsorption, so it's very beneficial to clean it out. During this Juice Fast you might have energy for normal life, work and light exercise, but the main purpose is to rest as much as possible. A long juice fast should always be done with a help of a coach, because if done wrong, it can be dangerous.  The recommended length for the Juice Fast is 1-2 weeks for beginners, and 4-8 weeks for those, who are really determined to fully clean the intestines.

Is it suitable for me?

Fasting, detoxing and cleansing is always beneficial, but especially if you suffer from tummy issues, intestinal diseases, skin problems, fatigue, cravings, mood-swings, anger, memory issues, depression, anxiety, hormonal problems, blood sugar issues, allergies, malabsorption, deficiencies, heart diseases, pain, rheumatoid arthritis or other autoimmune system disfunctions. During these coaching protocols we start slowly from your state, so you don't necessarily have to have any experience yet. 

Fasting can be dangerous if done incorrectly, so please take a help of a reliable coach!
